Biography

Member of board of the Direction of INESC TEC since 2018. Senior Researcher (S’02) in the Centre for Power and Energy Systems (CPES) of INESC TEC. He received an electrical engineering degree and M.Sc. from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Porto, Portugal in 2002 and 2006, respectively. Presently, he is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from University of Porto. He has been Project Manager in several national and European smart grid projects, where he participated in the definition of smart grid deployment architecture – InovGrid Project _for the Portuguese DSO, EDP Distribuição, FP7 Project SuSTAINABLE and H2020 UPGRID project. He participated in over 30 National Research projects, 12 European Projects and over 30 international consultancy projects.
